Divorce, an empty nest, and the realization that you’re not getting any younger are all common reasons for the dreaded midlife crisis. Despite our concerns about the future, it pays to stay positive so that you can emerge into your “mature” years ready to move forward without being stuck in the past.
Though the pandemic is waning in most areas of the country, we still feel its impact in nearly every aspect of our lives. Maybe you were forced into a different work routine and had to teach your child from home. Perhaps your favorite gym and restaurant closed down, which led you to find online health and fitness solutions. Maybe the cumulative changes in routine shifted your sleep habits, and you’re still trying to find your rhythm.
Even as the pandemic wanes, we continue to live with the changes it spurned. And although the virus caused a tragic loss of life, some positives have come from it. In conjunction with the pandemic, social-distancing guidelines have encouraged people to live virtual lives, which ushers in a whole new era of convenience whether personally or professionally.
