“I wish I could show you when you are lonely or in darkness the astonishing light of your own being” ~ Hafiz
I believe that counseling is not about looking for what’s wrong with you and fixing it. The fact is, you’re not broken.
Instead, it’s about uncovering what is intact in you and resurrecting it from beneath the layers that have obscured it.
Through deep listening, practical skills, and education, I endeavor to help clients find their way through difficulties and discover the resilience and well-being that exists both within and beyond their circumstances.
I work experientially, creatively, and collaboratively. There is no one way to wellness.
Some of my influences are person-centered therapy, somatic psychology, cognitive-behavioral therapy, internal family systems, transpersonal psychology, mindfulness, and positive psychology
