LPC Student Intern
One of the reasons that I started going to therapy many years ago was that I thought there was something wrong with me that I needed to fix. Nothing could have been farther from the truth.
Humans are as diverse as they come, but many struggle with the same things as their friends, neighbors, and co-workers, but few talk about it.
I am here to let you know that you are not broken and that you don’t need fixing.
As your therapist, I help you use the innate abilities that you already have to help shape and change your life for the better.
I use a Solution-Focused approach that keeps you in charge of your life and the choices that you make. By cultivating a collaborative and cooperative dynamic,
I will help you discover new ways to solve and work through any issues you may be having.
Even though I am a student, I have lived a life that is filled with experiences, people, and challenges that helped shape me into who I am today.
I am Interning with Studio B/The Therapy Collective while in school to gain experience in becoming a better and well-rounded counselor with all the great providers that make up this practice.
My alma mater is Fort Lewis College and have called Durango home for the past 20 years.
I have lived many lives before I decided to become a therapist, but my passion has always been creating great relationships with people.
In my spare time I love playing video games and generally being nerdy, cooking any and all types of food, and spending time with my friends and family.
