Psychologist PhD Student Intern
I am absolutely so excited to be on this journey.
Although it has been a deep dive into self-discovery I am truly blessed to be where I am. After going through a devastating tragedy I found myself lost and did not know where to turn.
I looked deep into what I wanted and where I wanted to be in my life. Months later I found myself in yoga teacher training in Bali. My teacher training was life-changing! I found my calling to reach out and help people going through life changes. Through this, I founded a nonprofit aiding women in recovery from trauma.
I have my BS in Veterinary Nursing from Purdue, my MBA from the University of Arizona, and MA in clinical psychology from Saybrook University. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Humanistic Clinical Psychology.
My specializations are grief and trauma, end-of-life care, veterinary mental health, and integrative mental health. I am Certified as a death midwife with completed patient advocacy training in trauma and domestic violence.
I have also done extensive training in Yoga, meditation, and pranayama (breathing). I am also a reiki master and sound bowl practitioner. I also love teaching and practicing aerial yoga as well.
I recently authored a children’s book, Taki The Brave Little Warrior, and have co-authored two multi-authored chapter books on spirituality. I am still working as a registered veterinary technician while finishing my PhD.
I live in one of the most beautiful parts of Colorado with my fur babies, a motley crew of dogs and cats, and lots of chickens. I travel as much as I can and have seen some of the most amazing places & met some of the most beautiful people. I am truly blessed. I also have an integrative healing practice that I absolutely love! This practice allows me to reach out and help people on a deeper level, helping them heal their body, mind, & soul.
I hope that you join me on this journey to discover the amazing, happy, and beautiful you that you are!
Many Blessings,
